So what are eyelash extensions?Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are a year-round ‘must have’ for the ultimate beautiful lashes. Lash extensions draw more attention to your eyes than mascara alone, and 24/7, so you’ll look great when you wake up, after your gym session, in the office, literally all day anywhere… One lash at a time, we’ll frame your eyes with a long, thick, luxurious set. Single strands of high quality synthetic lashes are applied onto your natural lashes to enhance and extend. We mainly deal in classic lashes but it's possible to create a bespoke look, using a variety of extensions to build the right volume, length and curl to fit your style.
-
How long does it take?Lashes are applied to every single isolated natural lash so as you can imagine this is a delicate process that takes time! From an initial chat on what you style you require, the process will last approximately 60-90 minutes per eye depending on the condition of your natural lashes and how comfrtable you feel through the application.
-
Could I have a reaction to the lash extensions? If it's the first time you have ever had lash extensions then it's recommended to have a patch test to test that you don't have any intial skin reactions to the adhesive. This will need to be arranged 24-48hrs before your appointment and will only take a short time.
-
How long will my extensions last? With proper care, your extensions will last 4-6 weeks. You should expect to shed most of them throughout the growth cycle of your natural lashes. We recommend booking infills when your extensions begin to look sparse. Be warned, lash extensions are incredibly delicate – so give them the TLC they deserve! Exposure to steam or extremely hot water, and touching, picking, or rubbing your lashes can weaken the adhesive bond on your extensions.
-
What are infills?Infills are like touch-ups for your extensions. Performed regularly, they’ll keep your lashes looking full and luscious. You may need them more or less often depending on how well you look after your extensions, your natural lash cycle, and the style of your initial set. Typically, clients get infills every 2-3 weeks, however some clients prefer to replace their full set every 4-6 weeks.
-
How do I look after my lash extensions? After care is essential to maintaining lash extensions. Firstly make sure not to get them wet for 24 hrs after a full set or a infill this allows the adhesive to completely cure. Avoid anything oil based as it will break down the adhesive, as will salt water or chlorine. Please do not put mascara on your extensions, it is very difficult to remove and can cause you to lose more extensions if not properly cleaned off. We supply a aftercare kit after your first full lash extension appointment.

Do I need to prep anything before I come in?Yes, please! Make sure your eyelashes are squeaky clean – no traces of eye makeup – prior to your appointment. Use an oil-free make up remover if possible, and rinse well. Make sure if possble you have contacts removed before you arrive.
